Willingly, he gives her the protection of his name and his arms, never expecting her to capture his heart.

Humorous, heartfelt, and awash in sweet romance, Bobbins and Boots captures the tender and tumultuous emotions of falling in love.

MY  REVIEW
Yes! Another winner by Shanna. Once I start reading one of her books I just can't seem to put them down until I am finished, she just pulls you straight into the story and won't let go. Allie's story pulls at your heart and just when she is having a blessed life, it all blows up. Believe me when I say you will love this series, be sure to read them in order though,

At age twenty-nine, Charlie Cooper's life is not exactly a hit. Working as a precinct secretary at the Boston Police answering phones, making appointments and writing up crime reports means she might not be on the fast track to her ultimate dream job.

And her living situation? She is the proud inhabitant of the most minuscule "master suite" she can afford to pay, where she can brush her teeth, get her clothes out of the dresser drawer and turn on the hallway light without getting out of bed.

But when a job opportunity arises, she's ready to take the bull by the horns and prove she is more than just a fast typist. Sure, she has to bite the bullet by returning to her hometown and living with her wacky family, but this is only the cover for her real assignment: finding clues involving a real big drug case.

What starts out to be just harmless snooping turns into a pile of dead bodies, slashed tires and threatening notes. But Charlie is determined to solve the case and catch the killer before he catches her.

Throw in two fearless waitresses and a hot fry cook who is not what he seems and you've got the perfect mix of a fast-paced and exciting mystery.

MY  REVIEW
A cute cozy mystery with a few comical characters to add to the story. This was a good mystery with just the right touch of humor. A nice story to pass the time away, grab a copy and enjoy.

Mattie's story is one of grief and learning to love again. But like the best tings preserved in a hope chest, it's a story of love and redemption born out of heartache---and it's past time to share it.

MY  REVIEW
Oh what a tearjerker Amy has written this time. I had to make myself put it down at times, read LATE into the night so I could finish it today. This has been a very touching series. How many times have we blamed ourselves for things that happened but we know in our hearts we could not do anything different to change the outcome? Our lives are in God's hands, he will test us but he will see us through, if we can just hear him and follow where he leads us.

The Bride's Matchmaking Triplets by Regina Scott - Review of one of the books in the Lone Star Cowboy League: Multiple Blessings

Though she longs to provide a real home for her three precious charges, as a single woman she can't adopt. Until her onetime sweetheart, minister Brandon Stillwater, offers a match of convenience...

It's only for the triplets' sake---that's what Brandon tells himself. Insecurities once drove him and Elizabeth apart, and now small-town rumors have made them man and wife. And though Brandon doesn't want to risk his heart this time, he's not sure he can resist the feelings that are once again starting to bloom for Elizabeth. But can he convince her that this sweet surprise family is more than just convenient?

MY  REVIEW
This is almost like two stories in one the story of Elizabeth and Brandon then the story of the triplets. I enjoyed reading this book as Regina always seems to do a great job with her writing skills. How often have you listened to gossip and judged a person by that gossip? Well, this is one thing Elizabeth had to deal with in a small town where the whole town hears, and 'knows', it all. Grab a copy when it comes out in June, you won't be sorry!

I was given a copy of this book in return for my honest opinion/review. These are my true feelings on what I read.

Upon a Spring Breeze by Kelly Irvin - Review of the first book in the Every Amish Season series

BACK  OF  THE  BOOK  BLURB
After a devastating winter, a spring breeze promises more than new flowers . . . It promises a new chance at love.

Bess Weaver, twenty and expecting her first child, is in the kitchen making stew for her beloved mann, Caleb, one minute, and the next she's burying him after a tragic accident. Facing life as a young widow, Bess finds comfort only in tending the garden at an Englisch-owned bed and breakfast-even as she doubts that new growth could ever come after such a long winter.

Aidan tries to repress his guilt over his best friend Caleb's death and his long-standing feelings for Bess by working harder than ever. But as he spends time with the young son his friend left behind, he seems to be growing closer to the boy's beautiful mother as well.

When a close-knit group of widows in her Amish community step in to help Bess find her way back to hope, she begins to wonder if Gott has a future for her after all. Will she ever believe that life can still hold joy and the possibility of love?

MY  REVIEW
Kelly did not let me down on this book, I enjoyed it as much as all of her other books I have read. Bess's story is one of much sorrow and fighting against herself to keep her faith. I think almost every one of us has probably felt let down at one time or another and fought to keep moving forward, not only in regards to our faith but sometimes people in our life. Thank you for this lovely story Kelly!
