Out of Control by Mary Connealy - Review of the first book in The Kincaid Brides series

Out of Control
(The Kincaid Brides, Book 1)
by Mary Connealy
Caves are amazing. Rafe wants nothing to do with them after almost losing his younger brother in one. He does go to the cave, but never inside, until he hears someone calling for help from the mouth of the cave. He retrieves the ladder that has been buried for years, not sure it will hold him. He discovers Julia, who loves exploring caves and looking for fossils, this cave happens to be full of htem.

The two collide on this throughout the whole book. Rafe goes in the cave to try to find the person that trapped Julia in there, he takes Julia with him. She keeps getting distracted by the fossils, he gets upset because he wants to find the man out to get Julia and get out of that cave. Not only does he have to worry about Julia, there is her Father, who is near death, Audra, her step-mother who is pregnant and her half-sister.

This story has as many twists and turns and the cave has veins. It keeps you guessing throughout the whole book.

This book was sent to me by Bethany House Publishers to do a review.

  1. It sure did take a lot of twists and turns...literally! That's why I don't want to go cave exploring :)

btw- the link listed under your contest area to the giveaway doesn't go to the giveaway. is it supposed to?
